24 Temporary Licences a Thing Of The Past!
The Cook Islands Government has just made it official that you no longer need to obtain a Cook Islands drivers license if you stay within the same class of vehicle as your International Drivers License. This means if you have an existing drivers license for a car you can use this while on Holiday in Rarotonga. If you want to rent a scooter and don't have this class vehicle on your International license you will need to do a test and obtain a Cook Islands drivers license. 12/04/2014
